While registering with GeM, keep following documents with you.
- Your business PAN
- Mobile Number registered with your Company
- An e-mail id associated with your Company and PAN
- Keep ready your User Id and password
Firstly visit www.gem.gov.in, then click on Sign up and select ‘Seller’.
Then GeM will ask for Your Company name. This Company Name should match your registration documents.
In the next step, Gem will ask for your PAN, which is validated and verified by GeM.
Then on the GeM portal, you have to fill up your e-mail id. This mail id is get validated and verified by GeM. Then lastly, you have to select your user id and password.
Remember your user id and the password. Because with this, you will get logged in with GeM for various tenders, which are floating on GeM site.
In this process, an e-mail id and mobile number are most important. Because when you will be updating a piece of information, then that will be verified and confirmed with an e-mail id and your mobile number by sending OTP by GeM.
As your registration gets complete, you should have to complete your Profile first.
